National Wool Museum commission

I began by drawing across the site of the National Wool Museum in Drefach Felindre, Carmarthenshire, Wales. My intention was to visually combine the ongoing manufacturing process of the working mill, Melin Teifi, with the historic textile collection. Some of the drawings can be seen here.

Gradually the concept of installing my work as a contemporary trail for the public developed and, in January 2010, five pieces made in metal and digital print were installed in among the collection, along with a limited-edition wool book, Jones Her Book.
