Drawing on enamel 2017-05-07T12:09:05+00:00

Project Description

“The Archive as the artist’s physical and mental storage unites the remembered and the present” Partenheimer J. Das Archiv, The Archive published by Distanz 2014.

Just as the publicly institutionalized archive is a cultural medium of memory and a place to which cultural works are entrusted, human memory is an archive that constantly creates new relational meanings from changing perspectives.

This new work on enamel is my attempt to create new meanings for my archive of drawings, which were created in different places, and also to give a new perspective to the objects that I have created that are currently part of public or private collections.

I have used direct drawing methods on pre-enamelled steel as well as digital transfers and screen printing onto waterjet-cut shapes to continue my exploration and interpretation of the drawn line.
