The Workshop:
Drawing on your pre-learned corpus of French words, you will be helped to expand and fashion expression through the medium of French and produce your own creative text. This could be a poem, haiku, prose,or just a word, which you will then be expertly taught to interpret and shape into wire using a variety of relevant materials. Each participant will receive group and individual tuition, making the day a concurrent learning event.
According to demand, further workshops will be offered.
The Artists:Dr. Beatrice Le Bihan's passion for words has lead her to explore their relationship with art and learning. With a background in UK universities, she has also led concurrent learning workshops with children and has published in the UK ,France and Germany on sociolinguistics. Language and Art are produced from the same side of the brain so using them conjointly enhances both potentials and makes it a more stimulating and pleasurable experience.
